Led by John Wang, MD, our practice offers comprehensive eye care services including eye exams as well as medical and surgical eye treatments to patients of all ages. We treat dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (cross eye), myopia (nearsightedness), and many other vision-threatening diseases. We use the latest advancements in technology and treatment options to deliver personalized care tailored to meet your unique needs.

Dr. John Wang is a board–certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, amblyopia, and strabismus. He completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and one in applied mathematics. He obtained his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University followed by a preliminary medicine year at the affiliated University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center. He then stayed to complete his ophthalmology residency training at Case Western Reserve University.
Following residency training, Dr. Wang completed a one year fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the nationally-recognized Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital where he trained under world-renowned pediatric eye surgeon Dr. Faruk Örge. With this further training, Dr. Wang is able to expand his practice to care for the ophthalmic needs of the entire family.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and the Cleveland Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Wang enjoys spending time with his family and raising his three children. He is very involved in serving his local church. In his free time, he likes to play board games and jam on his acoustic guitar.
